Apartamento en calle Còrsega. Barcelona
Situado en el ensanche de Barcelona, se ha intervenido en este espacio en planta baja para adecuarlo a sus nuevos ocupantes.

Con un presupuesto ajustado, se ha optado por actuar en algunas de las zonas y elementos y, al mismo tiempo, mantener lo que no era necesario variar.

El cambio fundamental fue la modificación de la circulación para poder distribuir los espacios de manera diferente, aprovechándolos al máximo. Se cambió la situación de los escalones que estaban entre la actual zona de biblioteca y estar para poder tener un recorrido que fuera recto, un eje continuo desde la entrada hasta el final del espacio. Este pequeño gesto cambió totalmente el espacio y sus posibilidades de uso.

Se ha intentado conseguir la máxima sensación de amplitud y luminosidad trabajando con los colores y la iluminación artificial, dispuesta de manera que no queden rincones oscuros.

El mobiliario se ha trabajado combinando muebles de Ikea –alguno de ellos modificado–, otros que los propietarios ya tenían y mobiliario a medida. Todo pensando en un espacio coherente y continuo.

Apartament al carrer Còrsega. Barcelona
Situat a l'Eixample de Barcelona, s'ha intervingut en aquest espai en planta baixa per adequar-lo als seus nous ocupants.

Amb un pressupost ajustat, s'ha optat per actuar en algunes de les zones i elements i, alhora, mantenir allò que no era necessari variar.

El canvi fonamental va ser la modificació de la circulació per poder distribuir els espais de manera diferent, aprofitant-los al màxim. Es va canviar la situació dels graons que estaven entre l'actual zona de biblioteca i estar per poder tenir un recorregut que fos recte, un eix continu des de l'entrada fins al final de l'espai. Aquest petit gest va canviar totalment l'espai i les seves possibilitats d'ús.

S'ha intentat aconseguir la màxima sensació d'amplitud i lluminositat treballant amb els colors i la il·luminació artificial, disposada de manera que no quedin racons foscos..

El mobiliari s'ha treballat combinant mobles d'Ikea –algun d'ells modificat–, altres que els propietaris ja tenien i mobiliari a mida. Tot pensant en un espai coherent i continu.

Located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, this ground floor space has been transformed to adapt it to its new owners.

With a tight budget, we have opted to act in some of the zones and elements and, at the same time, maintain what was not necessary to vary.

The fundamental change was the modification of the circulation so that we distribute spaces in a different way, making the most of them. The situation of the steps located between the current library and living room was changed and there was to be a straight path, a continuous axis from the entrance to the end of the space. This small action totally changed the space and its possibilities of use.

It has been tried to achieve the maximum sensation of amplitude and luminosity working with the colors and the artificial illumination so that there are no dark corners.

The furniture has been worked combining Ikea furniture –sometimes modified–, and custom or owners’ reused furniture. All thinking in a coherent and continuous space.
