NM apartment. BarcelonaA 68 sqm apartment located in the Eixample in Barcelona has been completely reformed to satisfy the new owner’s needs.
The challenge was to create more space and light, maximizing the available square meters and creating comfortable and functional environments.
By changing the position of the kitchen and re-placing it in a no defined space that had no use, and that was left as a residual space, we eliminate corridor meters and create a living-dining space much larger.
It has been attempted to enlarge the sense of space in the hall, both with lighting and color. Furniture designed by 5LAB has been placed, customizing the colors of the different pieces.
The reduced dimensions of the kitchen require the studied distribution of furniture and the playful touch is provided by both the board and asymmetrical lighting integrated in the ceiling.
The living-dining room is a neutral space where colorful details are added, such as the table, the Catalan chairs and the paintings. The lighting control allows different scenes and makes different environments, adapting to the needs of the moment.
